We’re looking for an exceptional Director of Engineering that will drive engineering execution for part of our hosting portfolio. The leader should have a proven ability to lead multisite and multi-product engineering teams. Hosting has a diverse portfolio of products, legacy and new, running on a wide variety of platforms. The team is focused on building a new micro-services based platform architecture, all based on open source technology. The leader, working with the product owners, would drive an engineering organization that is focused on scalability, reliability, and performance for all products. The engineering leader would work with a wide set of organizations including senior leadership in the company, product management, marketing, data center operations, central engineering, and finance. 

The role reports into the VP of Engineering.  

Responsibilities: 
• Lead and grow multiple engineering teams including Engineers, Architects, and Managers.
• Drive the engineering execution of product roadmaps. Partner with Product and Support teams to own the end to end customer experience.
• Drive architectural discussions within the organization and across the company.
• Drive the best agile practices including CI/CD.
• Work closely with SRE teams to drive customer issues to resolution.
• Continue to drive improvements in engineering practices within the team and company-wide.
• Manage and grow a multisite, multi-product engineering organization driving toward org efficiencies by planning (with the Product Management and Product Marketing Leaders)
• Lead projects in a dynamic environment that need to adapt quickly to changing requirements and react fast to our customer's feedback.

Requirements: 
• Proven experience leading large organizations across multiple locations.
• Strong track record of product delivery in an agile environment.
• Experienced in driving design discussions and getting alignment from engineers and product owners.
• Proven experience in building Distributed systems, APIs, Micro-services, Containers, etc.

We are looking for a passionate engineer,  an expert in Identity,  Access Management and Authorization frameworks, to join the Platform group of the Policy Compute Engine (PCE) team.  Our growing Platform group is responsible for frameworks upon which Illumio’s Adaptive Security Platform (ASP) is built. The key aspects include identity management and authorization frameworks, cluster management, high availability, caching and persistence layers, API support, background jobs, reporting infrastructure and more.  We focus on the important aspects of scale and performance of the system to meet the demands of our customers. This includes system responsiveness and performance while maintaining active connections to tens of thousands of managed servers. We also build features that the rest of the product relies upon, such as interactions with Illumio-managed servers (VENs) and the resulting workload lifecycle management. At Illumio, we design systems and write code that runs both in our own multi-tenant cloud service and in customer data centers around the world. 

 In this role, you will focus on two aspects – identity and access management for the Illumio ASP product and also enhance our Role-based access control (RBAC) roadmap. We are a distributed systems product focused on the security space and so product security is a high priority for us. Fall Membership & Event Coordinator Intern - Minneapolis

Our lively sales team seeks an energetic individual to assist in all areas of the Membership Department. Receive hands-on experience and valuable training in customer service techniques, membership support systems and trend tracking for a non-profit organization that serves over 400,000 visitors each year. The intern will be responsible for aiding the membership team in providing a high level of service to the members and customers of the museum.

Responsibilities may include responding to customer questions via e-mail and social media, helping with onsite member events and offsite promotional opportunities, and tracking overall experience quality through survey work, including copy creation and data collection. Commitment: September-December 2018.

Requires 120 hours during the internship session (10-12 hours per week).

Major Job Accountabilities

The exact duties and projects will be determined by mutual agreement of the intern and museum staff. All duties will be carried out with the direction and supervision of the Membership and Sales department. • Track member and customer experience trends through the sending of surveys. Cray has an internship opening for a motivated student to help explore next-generation system architectures with Cray's Advanced Technology Team. This internship will be focused on the evaluation and development of performance, power, and cost models. Projects will include exploring application performance and computer architecture features using simulation tools, modifying and validating simulators (typically written in C or C++), and developing scripts/tools to automate architectural or application design space studies.

Requirements Ob Requirements Junior, Senior, or graduate student pursuing Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree. Candidates should have completed coursework in computer architecture, have strong C/C++ and script programming skills, and be comfortable in a Linux environment.
