Description

Cray has an internship opening for a motivated student to help explore next-generation system architectures with Cray's Advanced Technology Team. This internship will be focused on the evaluation and development of performance, power, and cost models. Projects will include exploring application performance and computer architecture features using simulation tools, modifying and validating simulators (typically written in C or C++), and developing scripts/tools to automate architectural or application design space studies.

Requirements Ob Requirements Junior, Senior, or graduate student pursuing Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree. Candidates should have completed coursework in computer architecture, have strong C/C++ and script programming skills, and be comfortable in a Linux environment. Previous experience with architectural simulation toolsets is strongly desired. Classes or exposure to advanced computer architecture concepts, compiler fundamentals, and/or parallel programming is a plus.
