Jr. Software Engineer - St. Louis, MO

Radialogica, a healthcare analytics company focused on radiation therapy for cancer patients, announced an agreement with Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis to develop and manage a multi-institutional registry of medical data for cancer patients treated with proton therapy. The registry will be utilized by a consortium of proton therapy centers organized by Washington University that will contribute clinical information and outcomes data to establish the efficacy, cost-effectiveness and value of proton treatment.


  1. Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications
  2. Participate in code reviews and the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software
  3. Collaborate with internal development resources to develop product designs
  4. Research, prototyping and testing activities


  1. Strong Computer Science fundamentals: OO principles, data structures, and  algorithms
  2. Expertise with an Object Oriented programming language (e.g. C#, Ruby)
  3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  4. Willingness and drive to learn new technologies
  5. Energy, curiosity, perseverance, and high standards
  6. 2+ years related practical programming experience
  7. Collaborative approach and demonstrated team player

Nice to Have Knowledge and Skills

  1. Strength and experience with the following technologies: Ruby, C#, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Mongo DB, LINUX, Docker, CoreOS, bash, JSON, XML
  2. Experience working with source control systems (Git)
  3. Experience with AWS (S3, SQS, IAM, AMI) or another cloud provider
  4. Test Driven Development

Average Salary - $56,000 - $86,000


  1. BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience
  2. Strong knowledge of OO principles
