The selected candidate will develop an understanding of how Systems Engineering (SE) is being used to help to improve Department of Defense (DoD) acquisitions of major weapon/platform/information systems.� - Learn by working closely with Engility consultants, engineers, and Subject Matter Experts - Develop an understanding of how DoD is using Policy & Guidance to help shape the planning and conduct of SE activities in support of these acquisitions - Design creative solutions and propose alternative approaches when desired resources are not projected to be available - Attend Corporate and Intern events (both business and social)
: - Must be able to successfully obtain a Secret Level clearance. - Pursuing an Undergraduate degree in a technically-focused degree that has a High degree of relevance to and overlap with systems engineering. - demonstrate Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. - demonstrate experience with Modeling tools from training and/or projects. - proficiency in Microsoft office suite. - demonstrate the Ability to identify and evaluate technical problems. - familiar with enterprise and segment Level requirements. - Ability to work in a Team environment and take initiative.
Desired Qualifications: - experience (in work or School) with Mathematics and/or mathematical areas of Science or engineering beyond the engineering/Computer sciences core - basic Understanding of Software architecture and design
