The marketing manager directs and oversees all operations within the organization's marketing functions with the primary objective of driving additional traffic to our store locations. Creates the company’s strategic social and digital marketing plans, while developing the specific tactics to ensure their execution. Oversees the production of print, online, or other forms of advertisement, and organizes special events or promotions. Establishes metrics defining campaign performance; modifies campaigns based on ROI analysis. Is responsible for all internal and external company communications.
Marketing and Advertising – Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function. Recommends policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization. Oversees marketing team ensure all deadlines are met, work quality exceeds stakeholder expectations and objectives are met within designated budgets. Responsible for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and corrective actions.
Creative Development - Manage various online, mobile and offline (internal and external) programs including presentations, communications, documents and other design and production initiatives that support branding, marketing and communication efforts. Must be able to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of the creative work that is produced by the department. Continuously generate ideas for improvement and growth.
Communication Liaison – Develops and executes tactical components of the Communication Plan. Act as a conduit for incoming information from our franchisees, Verizon, and our vendors. Become the “gatekeeper” for all outgoing communication from the individual departments within the company.
Social Media – Executes social media strategy that ladders up to overall brand strategy; leading to increased fan engagement, channel growth, customer acquisition and increased store traffic. Develop and oversee the creation and posting of engaging content that drives the relationship between the brand and online communities including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
Digital Strategy - Provide a vision for the marketing/promotional collateral (landing page, print/digital ad, etc.) so that it adheres to brand and position standards, while optimally engaging customers and prospects. Create effective, insight-driven digital marketing strategies, setting benchmarks and using all tools (ex.: website, email, social media) to reach target audiences for B2B and B2C. Plan and implement SEO/SEM to drive business and store traffic. Implement strategies that increase audience and engagement on all digital platforms. Perform detailed research on clients, categories, and competitors.
Vendor Relationships – Builds strong vendor relationships, focusing on vendor management and develops close working relationships with each Vendor through phone calls, face to face meetings and presentations.
Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in marketing
- 3+ years of experience with SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Good AdWords and social platforms
- Basic knowledge of website design, HTML, search and social advertising, programmatic advertising, and e-commerce
- Solid understanding of target segmentation, category, positioning and brand strategy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
