Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the Program Operations Division’s Registration & Enrollment, Program Services, and Benefit Utilization & Review Units, as well as guide the analysis of the workflow and procedures in order to collaboratively develop technological solutions utilizing best business practices
  • Ensure efficient and effective work processes that are compliant with the mission, regulations, and requirements, quality assurance standards and goals of the Child Care Funds (CCF) through the implementation of appropriate policies and procedures
  • Cultivate a Program Operations Division based on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the CCF’s Strategic Plan as a member of the Executive Team
  • Develop and direct the implementation of an annual plan for registration, enrollment, provider and member relationships, utilization and processing of childcare benefits, and services to members consistent with the CCF strategic plan
  • Track member, service provider, and benefit utilization to provide timely notification of trends and issues and develop solutions in conjunction with the Director of Programs when necessary
  • Establish linkages, and work closely with related 1199SEIU Fund entities, government and private agencies, and community-based organizations to maximize the Child Care Funds’ professional and community network of resources
  • Direct and supervise CCF Satellite offices and support staff
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
  • Must meet performance standards including attendance and punctuality

Salary: $75K+

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum eight (8) years job related experience i.e. business operations, management or other related experience, to include five (5) years supervisory experience required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends with some travel required
  • Must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and be capable of working with a variety of people including management, labor leaders, public and private entities and constituents
  • Flexibility and creativity are required in day-to-day activities, as is the ability to work in a demanding dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best business practices and management/coordination of diverse operations 
  • Knowledge of programs for children and youth, parenting and work-life issues/trends
  • Highly organized self-starter; good computer skills
