IT Sales Executive - Security Sales Digital Hands - San Antonio, TX


Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Security Sales Executive works within a designated region to identify, sell, maintain, and expand relationships. The CSM represents the entire range of company services to assigned partners although he/she may focus on a specific solution or product set as appropriate in a partner vertical market.


  • Create a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities with a clear business plan to deliver growth objectives
  • Maintain sales opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound calling and marketing activities to generate activity
  • Engage in solution-centered dialogue with key decision-makers to discover their business objectives and security challenges
  • Facilitate successful customer meetings and demo presentations
  • Stay on top of market trends and changes, be aware of new technology and how it plays a role with or against Untangle
  • Educate customers on technical requirements, pricing, training, and successful implementation of the product during and after the sales process


  • Bachelor Degree required, Master’s Degree a plus
  • 3-5 years’ experience in information technology solutions sales required, cybersecurity a plus
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue quotas
  • Prospecting and account development skills, with demonstrated ability to work with technical, non-technical, and executive level prospects
  • Experience in the financial-tech, healthcare-tech and/or retail-tech space preferred
  • Ability to quickly generate leads and new business through existing relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners within assigned territory
  • Knowledge of the cyber-security
