PLANT CONTROLLER

Power and Propulsion is a world leader in the investment casting of superalloys, aluminum and titanium primarily for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbine markets.  

We are looking for a strong financial leader to act as a business partner to the plant manager and to be responsible for directing the finance function at a manufacturing facility. This professional will report to the plant manager with a strong dotted line to Business Unit finance management. Key responsibilities include:Identifying key levers to drive business improvement and providing leadership to ensure implementation of business improvement opportunities.Determining, in conjunction with plant management, targeted goals for performance measures of quality, productivity, delivery, cycle time, inventory optimization and profitability.Deploying business unit initiatives.Forecasting, planning and analyzing business results.Complying with and business unit financial reporting requirements.Coordination of the capital appropriation process and post-project reviews.Ensuring completion of Alcoa’s Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls.Supervise department employees.Identifying key levers to drive business improvement and providing leadership to ensure implementation of business improvement opportunities.#LI-MMMinimum Years of Experience 7Preferred Qualifications CPA &/or MBA preferredOutstanding communication, leadership and teamwork skillsStrong analytical and decision making skillsExperience with Essbase, Hyperion, or Oracle.Ability to work on cross functional teamsForecasting, planning and cost accounting experience

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of 7 years of finance/accounting experience with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years Supervisory experience
  • Must meet ITAR compliance requirements which means that employees must be a Citizen or national of the United Stats or permanent resident legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
