Support Desk Engineer CorCystems - Ridgefield, CT

Description:

The Support Desk Engineer will work with our clients by supporting them remotely via phone and remote management tools. We need someone who has a high level of technical understanding but can speak in customer terms so that our customers feel comfortable.

  • Call center or technical support experience in a managed services environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments including Remote Desktop and Exchange
  • Experience working with and supporting O365
  • Experience supporting VOIP phone systems both hosted using various phone switch software such as Broadsoft, etc. as well as, on-premise phones, preferably Altigen and Avaya
  • Windows and Mac Workstation Desktop Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills
  • Sonicwall and Cisco Router configuration and troubleshooting experience
  • VM Ware experience and ability to configure and troubleshoot VM Ware server environments
  • Experience with ticketing and RMM systems, preferably ConnectWise and LabTech
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail and team player

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and solve advanced computer problems
  • Troubleshoot issues with industry equipment
  • Document all service performed in our ticketing system

Education

  • Courses completed in Computer Technology / Management Information Systems
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A+ Certification
  • Network + Certification
  • Qualifications
  • Experience working in a managed services environment in a support role
